The Roll. What does a ScanTherm Building Thermography Surveyor do?

  • Depending on experience, the role will likely initially focus primarily on conducting residential thermal imaging surveys for both commercial clients and individual homeowners. However, the goal is to increasingly assist on larger commercial surveys with a view to conducting them in the near future.
  • The Building Thermographer will be responsible for planning, conducting and reporting on surveys.
  • Thermal modelling and potentially air tightness testing will be likely.

    • Experience of building surveying or testing a distinct advantage.
    • Air tightness testing and/or thermal modelling skills are a distinct advantage.

    • Academic:  dependent on experience, likely minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C or above) and ideally a technical/science based A-Level in Maths or Physics, possibly a graduate.
    • Driving: a full driving license.
